Today, the aim of the industry in the field of drive automation is to increase the production rates and to improve precision for high quality production while reducing the production and energy losses. To these goals the motor manufacturers are trying to develop new motor types.
STM Synchron Torque Motor is a low speed and high torque motor. The motor is suitable for many load applications, because the torque is constant from zero, to nominal speed regardless of load. It is dynamic because of its low moment of inertia.It speeds up rapidly and works with high stability. And last but not least, it is ideal for high performance applications due to the fact that it can overload three times more than the nominal torque for short periods.
